The 20th Stibitz-Wilson Awards are returning to Bozeman! After a three-year hiatus, ACRM will once again be honoring luminaries in the fields of computer science and biodiversity whose groundbreaking work is contributing to our understanding of the relationship between humanity and technology.
The Stibitz-Wilson Honorees are:
Paula Apsell, whose influential career in public media and science journalism includes 33 years at the helm of PBS's NOVA, the most popular science series on American television;
J. Craig Venter, PhD, widely regarded as a leading scientist of the 21st century for his invaluable contributions to genomic research;
and via video, Steve Wozniak, whose foundational work at Apple in the 1970s and 1980s places him at the forefront of the personal computer revolution.
